University of Rochester ABPNN 2017

Hi All,

I looked and didn't see a thread started for Rochester yet, so I thought I would start one. Has anyone applied or heard anything back from the school. I spoke with them recently and they said it would 8-10 weeks before students would know.

Really it depends on what your plans are for the future. If you plan on going further as becoming an NP, then it doesn't matter whether you have a bachelors or a master's. If you want to go it in management then jobs will look into whether you have a master's or not. My plan is to become a FNP and my first choice was Rochester even though I got into Hopkins as well.

I'm sure you will make the right choice either way. Good luck.
