University of Rochester ABPNN 2017

Hi All,

I looked and didn't see a thread started for Rochester yet, so I thought I would start one. Has anyone applied or heard anything back from the school. I spoke with them recently and they said it would 8-10 weeks before students would know.

No news yet but I'm patiently waiting. I chose Bachelors because I want to become an RN, from my experience RN's are there for patients on their day to day and NP's come in make decisions and go. I may be biased but that's just how I see it.

Just called the school, couldn't handle the wait any longer. They told me they will making calls by the end of next week. Not too much longer!

Tanya I did the same yesterday and I got the same answer! Let's keep eachother posted. This waiting is horrible but we are finally near the end!

Did you get a call for the second interview? I only had one.

No! I only had one aswell. Very odd. Looking at the years prior for the AMPNN on this website, they only had one aswell

No. I only had one interview as well. Mine was months ago. They did state to me at the time they were only doing the phone interview and that was it before the final decision (at least for BSN). When it gets to the end of the program and you have applied to the AMNPP then your application will be reviewed again for that program. This is how I understood it. I have applied to the BSN program and will apply to AMNPP towards the end of the program pending if I get in.

I have received and off from John's Hopkins but Rochester was and still is my first choice. Hopefully it all works out. Has anyone else received any other offers?

Thank goodness calls will be made next week. I received an offer from MGH, but Rochester is still my top choice too! Good luck to everyone :up:

Hey guys! I am SO glad I found this thread! I applied for jan 17' as well and have been so anxious about this waiting game!

The closer to October is gets the more anxious I get. I hope we all get the call/letter we want soon!

I know! When I think about it I get so anxious. Has anyone heard about when we should be getting calls? I know originally in my interview they said the end of September but in other years I know they weren't getting calls until october
