University of Rochester ABPNN 2017

Hi All,

I looked and didn't see a thread started for Rochester yet, so I thought I would start one. Has anyone applied or heard anything back from the school. I spoke with them recently and they said it would 8-10 weeks before students would know.

I'm so happy that I finally found a thread for spring 2017 applicants. I just had my phone interview today, now I will just be anxiously awaiting to hear anything!

I'm so anxious about mine, but I feel ready for it!!

Did your interviewer gave you any specifics regarding the program..

Congratulations on the phone interview! How did it go? I was a little nervous for mine but felt pretty good by the end. I'm also anxiously waiting for an answer. I hope it's not too long.

Hi everyone. I am glad I found this thread. I applied to the direct entry masters but I consider myself part of the group. So I called ****** on the 15th and asked about my application and she quickly scheduled me for an interview for the 18th. It went very well. It was very relaxed and the lady only asked why I chose nursing and what my future plans are. Fingers crossed for all of us. The wait is killing me though. I have to wait to be contacted for the masters interview.

Hey guys,

So I just spoke with ******** and she said that they are not making any final decisions until all the interviews are finished. So that won't be until sometime late September she said. I want to know now!

Hi Guys,

I just finished my interview, and just like you guys it was very relax and informative.

I was asked what's the role of a nurse and why I want to become a Registered Nurse.

After that we talked about the program and future goals.

She told they received 300 applications this year only 130 were selected for interviews and only 66 get accepted into the program.

NOW IS THE WAITING GAME!!!

Hey!! I had my interview yesterday too! mine went pretty well, i'm hoping for the best. Im not from NY but this is one of my top choice programs since I already have a degree (im assuming you do aswell). have you recieved a follow up email or anything? what other schools did you apply to? I hope we both get in!
