University of Rochester ABPNN Jan. 2016

Published

Hello!

I've been looking at allnurses to see if anyone had started a thread for the U of R January 2016 ABPNN program yet but I have not seen one. I figured I'd go ahead and begin. While they are still accepting applications until July 1st, I got everything in early and just had my interview this morning. I think it went well but I won't really know until they make their decision (the faculty member said I probably won't hear anything until mid-September). Anyone else applying for this cohort?

Hi Brandi. They did not say but hopefully you hear something from them very soon. Email Nancy and ask her :)

Hi everyone! Congrats to all who are going to be starting the accelerated program this January! I started last January 2015, and we are just finishing up our last classes next week then starting Capstone. I was wondering if any of you are interested in some gently used furniture, books, or other household items you may need if you are furnishing a home/apartment. I moved to Rochester from California, and everything was purchased new when I moved here in January. If you are interested please message me and we can work out the details and I can send you pictures with pricing. Thanks, and good luck!

I got in!!!! :D

I think I still am in shock! Lol

Another spot may be opening up since my financial aid award is nowhere near enough. I haven't made it official yet but I will soon. I'm still waiting on a decision from another school so here's hoping. Good luck everyone!

Sorry to hear. Hope you can come right somewhere. Very best of luck..

Are you not thinking about private loans?

Not $75,000 in private loans. That's too much. The other school I'm waiting on is a public college and half the cost.

Hey! I just recently got accepted into the January cohort and it's super last minute. I live in Michigan and started looking up some housing but I was wondering if anyone was looking for a roommate or may have any places in mind? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I just finished up the Program 2 weeks ago and starting the FNP program in January. It goes by so fast! Reason for my post is that I am looking to sell my textbooks. I have almost all the textbooks (not all are the current edition but it doesn't matter- there are no assignments out of the texts where you need the current one, however they are useful for care plans). If anyone is interested just let me know. I'm thinking I can give you all that I have for like $125- $150.

If the books are still available for sale. I am interested
