University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) CRNA - 2026

Hi all, just submitted my app on 11/10 and attended a zoom information session last night. Good luck everyone!

Got my call 11am today. At work so I couldn't post on here LOL. Good luck every1

EEKS well, this is so exciting seeing everyone that's been on here getting a call back! 
 

I've been having a melt down the past week... I was in the first group of interviews. They told us we potentially could hear back earliest 2 weeks.... Well on the nose Thursday... 2 weeks later I get a call from Pittsburgh (I'm out of state inAZ and don't know anyone in Pittsburgh) couldn't hear them, they couldn't hear me and the call disconnected. Called back and it says it's a non working number for university Pittsburgh med ctr. I'm having a full blown panic attack. Emailed the CRNA dept secretary to see what was going on, to see if anyone was trying to locate me for a call.... After she called several of the directors... they said it was a scam call. Like seriously THE DAY OF 2 WEEKS and from the university hospital of all numbers... cruel cruel joke fate... also got another Pennsylvania call today...same thing just an empty call and no one on the other side answering. no one calls me from here and I never received scam calls from PA till now. I know from previous years they wait to tell everyone till the end, but This is torture... I'm honored I was in first group but now it's just waiting and torture.... anyone else going through this?

This question is for anyone who received an interview. 
 

Did they offer you a date you couldn't attend? Did you get a follow up call? 

the date they offered to me I couldn't make it so they said there will be more interviews soon.

No I pretty much sent it on the only date they gave me! I was too excited to pass. What r everyone's stats by the way

I think read from previous years on here that they offered the next interview to those who couldn't make it... but I don't know if I read if it was confirmed they do. I hope it works out. I know you've been so eager to get an interview!

3.9 overall GPA, 3.9 BSN, 3.9 science, 4.0 stat classes. RN 10 years, 9 years ICU. CVICU/ cardio-thoracic and medical ICU specialty mainly, but I've done all ICUs along with ICU buRn. 
mind if I ask your's?

Yes the person told me to call them soon as I get back from my mission trip in Ghana to call for the next interview date. I didn't wanna rush down there unprepared and do horrible before I leave I hope I don't regret it 😕

Who did you go through for your mission trip to Ghana btw?

I went through my job! It was fully sponsored, thank God! But I'll be there for 10 whole days. I told the admissions counselor and I added it to my resume!

I also was in the first group and was anxious last week around the 2 week mark. I was they got back to us last week like they said they would. When you called the secretary did they say anything about how soon the first group would hear back?

Since you shared LOL;

-2.5 years MICU/SICU it's a 300 bed community hospital, CCRN, 3.96 BSN GPA IDK how to calculate science, 2 papers (only 1 is published right now), took a grad patho class, undergraduate research, some shadowing (30 hrs)

None. Other than "it will be the program that will contact you, not the hospital.”
