I'm in Virginia. ICU nurse 3-4 years. Have background with cardiac/cvicu. Science GPA 3.2'ish.

They do a rolling sort of application, they process them as they come. And if you meet their criteria/ have enough points on their scoring system they will invite you to an interview. The app opened in Dec 2024. I highly recommend requesting to be put on the email list to join in on info sessions they have.

Has anyone heard anything back from the program today? I received a call a few days ago saying interviews will be Thursday and I'll be receiving a follow up email about it Monday morning (today). Haven't received/ heard anything yet.

Monday interviews just finished. If you haven't gotten the email yet I'd suggest calling Dr. Goode (same number that called you first). It took them two business days to send me my email

This is very early in the cycle for Pitt. Monday was the first in person interview group and they're planning roughly another 5-6 rounds. It was suggested that the acceptances would go out in June at the latest. Looking back at prior years, it seems like Pitt can take even longer for some decisions. So I would say if anyone hears anything prior to June that would be a gift.
