Members are discussing the number of seats offered in a program, with some confusion about the exact number of full-time and part-time spots available. There is also debate about the fairness of offering acceptances early in the interview process and concerns about the scoring system. Additionally, members are inquiring about additional interview dates and waiting for acceptance notifications by the end of the month.
Hi all, just submitted my app on 11/10 and attended a zoom information session last night. Good luck everyone!
I haven't received an interview or denial [yet]. I'm wondering how the new student loan changes will affect schools and their decision making process to be sure their cohorts are filled. Like will some wait a little longer to send official denials? Or maybe some like Pitt have already taken that into account and that's why they have the part-time seats....
From what I have experienced with the application process in general, programs first call everyone to offer them a spot and then the next day or two after that, rejection and waitlist letters are sent out to the rest. I think they said this is the most applicants they have ever had so I suspect it's taking them longer to send out the emails.
