Members are discussing the number of seats offered in a program, with some confusion about the exact number of full-time and part-time spots available. There is also debate about the fairness of offering acceptances early in the interview process and concerns about the scoring system. Additionally, members are inquiring about additional interview dates and waiting for acceptance notifications by the end of the month.
Hi all, just submitted my app on 11/10 and attended a zoom information session last night. Good luck everyone!
Pressor Daddy said:I also got a part-time offer about 4:30 CT . I am not sure exactly how it logistically works, I know online classes start Jan 2026, we get an academic advisor, but kinda clueless about anything else. How many classes do we take per semester? Which cohort do we graduate with? Does it make sense to even accept another full-time offer that starts next year Aug/Sept or take this one? Do I even accept an offer from a lower ranking school that starts in Jan 2026? I honestly welcome all opinions to chime in. Congratulations to everyone again!
Pressor Daddy said:Great! Thanks for the clarification. Will we be able to work a full-time job with part-time courses?
Oh sorry I got confused. I thought you were starting in Jan 2026 and considering taking part-time courses this coming fall (2025).
Since (I think) your official start date is in Jan 2027, you can choose to work/not work until then. Ex: I'm from the 2025 cohort, and deferred to this (2026) cohort so I could take a gap year/not work. I didn't plan to take courses until this fall, but if you wanted to, it sounds like you can work as long as the coursework is online/you are located in Pittsburgh.

Is there a place all part time students can communicate and share knowledge? The Facebook link shared earlier requires email to be accepted which we do not have yet. Congratulations to everyone both full time and part time!🙌🏽

How did y'all start with the FAFSA? Did you just go on the regular FAFSA website and apply and then listed the school you were applying for?
