Members are discussing the number of seats offered in a program, with some confusion about the exact number of full-time and part-time spots available. There is also debate about the fairness of offering acceptances early in the interview process and concerns about the scoring system. Additionally, members are inquiring about additional interview dates and waiting for acceptance notifications by the end of the month.
Hi all, just submitted my app on 11/10 and attended a zoom information session last night. Good luck everyone!

10+ years all ICU experience- All specialties: CTICU, Level 1 trauma, Neuro, transplant, etc. 2 different ICU float pools working in these specialties at level 1 systems. CCRN.

Involved in unit pharmacy alcohol withdrawal protocol research study (not published)
Cumulative GPA 3.53/Science GPA 3.9
3 really solid letters of recommendation including high ranking nurse military officer and Pitt CRNA alum I worked with for years as RN.
Cons: Out of school since 2014, no academics since graduation other than obtaining CCRN. No community service, no published research. Essay was lengthy at 5.75 pages 1.5 spacing.
Sorry to dig this up, but was catching up on the thread.
They seem to weigh post-bach classes heavily. My GPA was 3.5ish in my undergrad, so I made sure to get an A in OrgChem when I took it for the CRNA school apps. I also threw in some community service to round out the app. And I barely made it into the last round of interviews.
You seem like a strong applicant though, very involved on your unit. I was only part of my unit committee, and don't have as many projects as you do.

I ended up choosing College gardens! It's one of their graduate housing buildings in Shadyside, p close to campus. There's a trader joe's, whole foods, some restaurants nearby. Lots of greenery when I visited (trees/grass), and felt safe.
Two Bedroom $1,560 - $1,780
Three Bedroom $1,980 - $2,130
Rent includes utilities (except internet) and I really enjoyed that they have gas ranges. Some units are updated, but other ones are old (like in the yt video on their website).

Thanks for the feedback. My science GPA was 3.9 and I tutored organic and biochemistry for our student progress center for about 2 years in undergrad. Im guessing no academic grades since 2014 undergrad is just a hard no even for an interview. Congrats to everyone that got in though, great achievement!
