Did anyone else apply by the Feb 15 priority deadline for Pitt? Looking at previous years it seems like they usually send out interview invites this week so here's hoping! :)
sleepmami said:From my notes... at the end of my interview session, Dr. O'donnell said:
- 80 total interviews given
- 50 seats to be offered
- 40 full time slots
- 10 to start part-time remotely
- And to expect to hear back week of June 23rd
They also said contact/notification would be made via phone, and emphasized the importance of SAFETY and not picking up the phone while driving LOL. The anticipation is killing me...
Thank you. It's been a long wait for most of us and hopefully if the week of June 23rd is still the plan then some of the anxiety will be expelled
Two of my recommendations sent me a message that they got a thank you email from Pitt yesterday.
"Your honest recommendation played a significant role in our evaluation process. We value your time and effort in providing a reference for this candidate. As an institution we highly value the insights and recommendations of professionals like yourself. Your endorsement holds great weight, and we welcome the trust and confidence you have placed in our selection process.”
really overthinking this!! Not sure if it's a good sign or bad sign. Or just a sign decision are coming soon.
But none the less I applied in January so nothing like a thank you letter 6 months later ?

I just want to clarify, the week of June 23 (which is tomorrow and a Friday) or the week of July 23 (which is a Sunday)?
