University of Pittsburgh CRNA 2024

Did anyone else apply by the Feb 15 priority deadline for Pitt? Looking at previous years it seems like they usually send out interview invites this week so here's hoping! :)

not a thing...it'll be interesting to see what they tell people tomorrow re: when decisions will be out. Thankfully after almost two months the sting has mostly gone out of waking up at 5 PM for night shift without having heard anything. Can't imagine having to wait this long while working days, I would be so paranoid LOL

Yeah last year I waited three months for a school to reach out while some people got an email the next day. And I found that working on apps to other programs helps take the mind off. We're gonna hear back here soon!

Did anyone get a time frame on when we will be hearing back after the interview yesterday?

Some time in June so I'm assuming early to mid June and we hear back late June.

In the last week I've gotten two automated emails about public Pitt nurse anesthesia info sessions...like YES I am interested in knowing more about the BSN to DNP program, lmaoooo

Anyone know how the GRE will be weighed?

My understanding is that's it not weighed too heavily; I know a guy who got an offer with a 304 last year. As long as you are over 300 it shouldn't matter too much

That's good to hear. I am on the low end of experience and my score is about the same. Just hoping it doesn't drop me down with their point system.

I had reached out to them earlier in the year and basically got that the CRNA grad program doesn't really require it but still expect applicants to send scores in per like Pitt's general graduate school standards.

Today is expected deadline for admission notifications for priority deadline applicants!

I'm keeping my expectations very low but gosh it would be nice to be woken up from daytime sleep by a 412 number...
