It's hard because at the first interview they heavily implied decisions would be efficient and arrive quickly. I live very far away and just need to know so that I can plan the rest of the year either way...

Any brave souls willing to contact them directly? I have already contacted them for a different thing so I feel like I've reached my (completely imaginary) quota, LOL

I agree, last year people did hear back within the week. At the first interview they said three weeks, the second they said last week. I feel like some people have been called already just not on here

Why I doubt that anyone has been called yet is because am in contact with 8 out of the 10 people I interviewed with and some of them are in touch with several others from the initial interview, plus all of us on here so far have not been called. unless they called 3 people only but I doubt that no one on this platform was called. At least there would have been 1 person. I will reach out to them and ask for all of us and let you all know what I find out

I assume they said they'll let us know by June?

The dates they originally give on the website are "by June 1" for people who applied for the priority deadline (Feb 15) and "by June 30" for people who applied between Feb 15 and May 1.

the source of the frustration is twofold: in the past couple years people have heard much earlier AND at the interviews they said we would hear much earlier.

As someone who went through this process last year I can confirm this is not true. After interviewing in April, many of us did not hear back until the end of July/ early august. We were told to expect a decision in about a week during the interview

Yes many people didn't hear until much later, but people in the very first interview group heard quite early

As far as I am aware, noone has gotten a call yet and a girl in the program now told me that they will let you know by June 16th. I don't know if these facts are certain, it is just what I was told by a friend in the program.
