Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

I'm wondering if somebody who applied closer to the 2nd deadline heard anything from them
I applied April 1 and never received this email. My app was submitted on CAS 4/1 and verified on 4/2. Should I be concerned?

I believe there's 2-3 interview sessions they haven't scheduled for yet. Relax, breathe, be patient LOL

I got my email with all the interview info this AM at 11:30! Maybe call tomorrow and ask!

🙂
Typically it's 80 for about 40 spots. I think this year they're doing 6 interview sessions(my guess based on rumors LOL) so about 120 candidates for 44 full time spots and at least 10 part time, can't remember the exact amount they said.
they usually interview 20 a day - 10 morning/ 10 afternoon.

I know this interview coming up Thursday is 20 people total and I believe Friday is also 20 people total. Not sure if it was the same for the first round of interviews though.

Oh they're doing 2 days of interview sessions this week? Damn... there may be more than 120 being interviewed then... ignore my estimate above LOL
The first 2 interview sessions had 20 per day

If you feel comfortable, without giving sensitive information regarding the interview, do you mind telling us how the interview was? I know there is some time for informal questions with current students/staff. When I asked if the interview style was a mix between interpersonal questions and clinical questions the answer was "Our goal is to just get to know you better." This made it seem more relaxed than other programs to me. I know some other school's interview styles are more laid back however, I have also interviewed at a school whos interview is BRUTAL and they grill you and make you take tests. I was just trying to gauge how Pitt performs theirs?

I felt like it was pretty laid back and more EI than clinical. I felt over-prepared and came out feeling like they just truly wanted to get to know me and my background. It was refreshing.

Wow, that is refreshing haha! Good to know! Going to prepare in the same way but that gives me a little less anxiety going into it! Thank you
