Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

Using this year as the example... If you were accepted full-time, you will start the program January 2025(graduating class of 2027. You go straight through nine semesters of classes
If you were accepted part time, they would allow you to start taking some of classes early, but you would not technically start the program until Spring of the following year, which is January 2026. So essentially, you are accepted to start with the next cohort, graduating Class of 2028.
Pitt does not do a waitlist, so when you are accepted part time if someone dropouts/ chooses a different program, you could potentially be moved into the full-time spot for the class starting January 2025.
A friend of mine who is now a third year at Pitt was accepted part time and chose not to take classes and just started with the following years cohort... So there is that option as well.
If you choose part time, you have to be careful with the amount of classes you take because if you don't have enough classes while in the program that affects financial aid.
Even if accepted part time, you still do all nine semesters with your cohort as well. So though it may decrease workload it does not shorten the program.
hope that makes sense.

Thanks for clarifying.

Have you received the email from the school about the interview details yet? They said it would be out on Monday or Tuesday, but I still haven't gotten anything. Need that information to book hotel.

I am giving up my interview spot guys. I really like UPITT but I got accepted to another program and it starts before they would make their acceptance decisions.
