Sorta surprised that there is no post for this current application for Pitt, especially since the application deadline is a month away. Decided to make this thread for people looking to discuss the application process. 

Anyone applying to Pitt? I made a last minute decision to apply just a few days ago, so I'm trying to get all of my things in order to submit on time, haha.

I really hope so too! I don’t think I could handle another weekend of waiting.

Seriously! They did say we should hear by 7/22 AND they already reached out to someone who applied earlier so perhaps there is a good chance they’re just waiting until Friday?

Heres to hoping we hear back today. I reached out the other day and have not  heard back from anyone. So I am thinking that they are they are trying to wrap things up. However, I am obviously anxious that we are almost into lunchtime and it's radio silence.

When I didn’t get in my first try the rejection email got caught in my spam folder for some reason, even though none of there other emails had. So I didn’t see it for a few hours. Fingers crossed you still get good news!

Well to be fair, I think them sending out updates on the process would open the gates for way too much communication from us overly anxious candidates, haha. Some people (like me) interviewed close to 2 months ago, but others interviewed only 2 weeks ago so I suppose we just give them some grace.
 

But it’s so hard not to be anxious ?
