University of Pittsburgh CRNA Spring 2022

Published

Hello everyone,

I figured since there isn’t a thread yet for the Spring 2022 cohort for Pittsburgh that I would make one!  I just need to take my GRE and I’ll submit my application in a couple of days.   Excited to go through this with all of you!

Best,

Guys- were we supposed to hear if we got in and did not get in? If we didn’t get a call by the 30th, does that mean we just didn’t get in? ???seriously tho confused I interviewed June 17th

I recommend to all that haven't received a decision to reach out. I assumed that I didn't get in because of that. My voicemail was full and I slipped through the cracks somehow (understandably because of COVID). I later got the call ? .

To those that are bound for other opportunities, know that your worth is not based on this admission. Exploit the privileges you STILL have; make big money, travel, enjoy time with family, (make TikToks?). I do, however, hope to meet you all eventually.

Hi, can someone tell me if they accept AP statistics for their statistics requirement? Thanks!

Does the university of Pittsburgh use just the BSN GPA? or do they look at other GPA's from other non nursing degrees. I am asking because nursing is my second degree and I have a GPA of 3.61. The GPA in my 1st degree was not that Great GPA of 2.76. and a non- nursing masters with a 3.5 GPA. GRE is 310, CCRN, BLS<PALS, ACLS. am in the application process but I paused because I still have questions. cumulative GPA for all 3 programs will bring me to a 3.12. let me know what you guys think

I think you're fine. they will consider you as a whole person. email them if you think you don't meet a minimum
