:welcome:
I would like to use this thread for all of us attending or having attended UofP.
I am going to begin classes in August of this year in the MSN/ED program.
I would love to hear from different people who are in different stages of the program and what they have liked and hated.
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH THE PROGRAM AND ONLY WANT TO SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT THE SCHOOL.
I hope other U of P alumni will get involved and help us with any sticky situations that arise and offer their wisdom.
Thanks,
Ok I am simply asking for encouragement. I'm 51 cut to part time and enrolled in the practitioner to MSN program. I' so nervous about the computer APA format, team work, but I really need an MSN to do what I want. Any advice, comments are welcome
Not a Phoenix person but I can help you with APA format. Pick up a copy of the APA style manual; I also have a thinner, wirebound book, Concise Rules of APA Style. I also believe there is software available to help you with APA style but I am not sure if it is for Windows only or Mac as well. HTH and the best of success with your program!
Hi there! I'm curious to know what about the UoP MSN programs attracted you to the school. With so many other schools offering online programs was there something that stood out over the others? There just seem to be so many of you! I didn't look at UoP because I'm working on my FNP online, and they don't (or didn't at the time) offer it.Thanks!
What school did you do your FNP through? I am looking for a flexible FNP program online? Thanks.
Trauma RU,
I see you are a ANP. I am getting my MSN through Uof P then plan to apply to a cetificate program for my FNP. Have you heard of any issues with schools not accepting a MSN form U of P? Or programs not accepting MSN grads who do not have a BSN. One prgram in my state (SC) will not take a post MSN who does not have a BSN. Once I hopefully finish I will have a ADN, a BA, and my MSN. Have you heard of this? Thank you!

I'm starting the MSN at UOP in a week. I've had two classes some time ago. I was just wondering what two classes have you alread taken and what will be not next class.
