University of Pennsylvania Master's in Nursing (MSN) Fall 2025

Hi! I wanted to start a forum for people applying to UPenn's MSN program for Fall 2025. Which program are y'all applying to? Please post if anyone hears anything so we can keep each other updated!!

Hi, I made another one of these threads LOL, but I applied to the WHNP. What did you end up applying to and when do you think we'llhear back?

OMG haha I think I saw you in the vandy forum too! I applied to the nnp program but part time so I think I submitted WAY early LOL 

I just got an email for an interview with the director. I did NOT realize the part time application is not due until April....so I think im hearing back super early as a part time applicant

I read past forums and it looks like people were getting interview emails mid-late January and decisions in February. from what I gather from the 2023 thread, I think the interview is supposed to be semi casual... my email did say "to chat" and for me to "ask questions I have about the program" so hopefully that's true, especially since the app already included that video interview

Oh yeah, woo.LOL I'm glad to be out of that Vandy thread now since that was stressful. And it's a good sign that you are hearing back, and it's just to chat. I guess for most of us, we'll have to wait a bits.

What program did you apply to?! UPenn seems kinda late on their timeline compared to other programs, stressing me out!!

I applied to the WHNP program, and so far I've gotten into Yale and Emory, but UPenn has become my top school that I'm looking out for. I'm not sure what they're looking for, and it could be different than the other schools that I applied for.

OMG congrats! you definitely have a good shot at upenn

I got into emory too! for their NNP program. have you heard/read anything regarding scholarships? I think tuition would be mainly what I would ultimately base my decision on haha

  For Emory? Emory doesn't offer any scholarships for their MSN programs but they do offer some limited funding for their dnp programs is what the admission officer told me. So yeah it comes down to price for me too, especially with applying to all these expensive schools. I'm thinking that if I don't get into UPenn then I'll go to Yale.

I thought we won't hear back until end of feburary for the full time program

Someone on another forum said that decisions came out 1/24 last year! So I thought it could have been yesterday.

Someone else also said they had contacted admissions and they said mid next week, so maybeeee this coming Wednesday??
