Hi All,

I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?

I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could any current san diego campus student tell me the name of your second semester pharmacology book, or if anyone is interested in selling any of her books for first or second semester, could you let me know. Thanks a lot!

Just in case wannabe07 doesn't want to part with a book you really want, I thought I'd throw it out there, that I may be. :) PM me if you are interested, also if anyone else is. There are plenty of us who i'm sure don't want to keep all of these books. :)

I applied for fall 2009 in Glendale and am currently certified through the AHA. The OU application asks for a license number for the certification, but the CPR instructor only gave me a wallet sized card and small textbook after completing the course. Am I blind or is there not a license number? I took their AED Heartsaver course. If you've taken the same one, do you know where I can find the license number (assuming there is one)?

I don't recall them asking for license numbers...the only license number I can think of would be an RN applying to the career mobility program. You do not receive a license after completing BLS.

wow, I am happy people are interested to sell their books. I am definitely interested to buy used books. Whoever is interested to sell please pm me with a list of first semester books with suggested price as a package or individual price plus price for pharmacology book from second semester, please include the name of the author and name of the book and its isbn...If you know for sure fall 2009 new stuudnets will not use your book because of multiple instructors , or new version of the book or any other reason could please give me a heads up. I don't know how to pm you guys individually , can anybody please tell me . thank youuuu

Hello,

Yes, I found out yesterday via email that I was accepted. We have orientation on April 22nd and I am hoping to know more about the program after then. We begin classes on June 2nd. Have you applied?

Congrats on your acceptance to OU. how are your classes? I am thinking of applying to OU also. The tuition seems much more reasonable than where I am at currently and am seriously thinking to drop my current program at West Coast.

I took them online...very convenient. I love it online. Yes, it's nice to be studying at home...I have 2 small kids and took 2 A&P classes and micro online in 1 semester and got 2 As and a B. Good luck!

Hi, I am also would like to take the A & P online and micro online. Where did you take these classes? Can you please help direct me? I would like to apply to OU Glendale as soon as possible and am missing my science classes.

hmmm I am not sure but I did apply for San Diego so I assume the advisor knew that when she responded...however I am not sure now
