University Of North Georgia Fall 2016/Spring 2017

Published

I haven't seen a group for the upcoming Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 applicants for UNG. I know they have over 650 that applied this coming up year. Does anyone have any information they might want to share? HESI scores and GPA?

I actually emailed them, but thank you for the offer! :)

You're welcome! Seems a lot were missing it cause they resent it with the letter and form again!

Can anyone who was accepted tell me when you have to turn in your decision to attend by? Also, does anybody know if the department will give an explanation on why I was waitlisted and where on the waitlist I am?

I also applied for Spring 2017 and was told they would reconsider if space becomes available. I've emailed them back and asked if they would elaborate on the factors that hurt my application. But haven't heard anything yet. Haven't had an opportunity to call. UNG wasn't my first choice, but a little disheartening nonetheless.

Decisions are due March 31.

I think they put most of the weight on the HESI scores. I was told by someone that got in last year that they only look at scores of 85 and up. I got an 86.

I got an 88 on my HESI. I had As on all sciences and maths. My undergraduate GPA was a 3.0, but I also have a Masters degree with a 4.0 to go along with that. But I guess post graduate work isn't considered.

I guess they just looked at the requirements for the nursing core only. I did hear that the average GPA was a 3.5 or over. I just made it with a 3.52

Just curious what is your Masters degree in?

They obviously don't put much on gpa considering I was waitlisted with a 4.0. Nor do they care if you have a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare already. Guess it was mostly HESI. I got an 84 I believe

I have B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Social Work

How many times did you take the HESI?

I'm not sure if your questions was directed at me Jewels, but I've only taken the HESI once.
