Just wondering if anyone has applied or currently a SRNA at the University Of Miami? Looking for Feedback on the program.

I did not do on-campus.

I interviewed online also and overall had a good experience with the interview panel.

Seems like us four all did web interview. It is comforting to know that UM accepts students via web interview though. Hang in there oopy4real and Parity. We will soon hear a response. :) let's keep our head up high regardless of the result and continue to strive toward our dream!!

I am interviewing next week for the 2018 class as well! would you mind telling how clinical the interview was? From what I have been told they ask you about the type of patients you take care of and then depending on your answer ask about disease process/treatment. Is this true?

Anyone heard back from UM?

jcabral725-- know your pt population in your ICU and the pathophysiology associated with the pt's conditions/treatment modalities.

I know nothing can take away from that nervousness of the unknown, however, I will say if you don't hear anything by today do not lose hope! I thought I was going to be denied based on how long it took for me to hear anything back. I didn't know anything for a good 3-4 weeks, however, that could be because I applied and interviewed so early. It will probably be quicker for you guys, but in case it takes longer than expected just remember that doesn't necessarily mean anything :)

blasu-- your post just made my day! Thank you for words of encouragement and hope. I really hope we will get the opportunity to join you in the cohort so we can share our experiences with each other! Would love you know you in real life :).

Apparently the PD has been out of the office for several days and will be returning Monday. It is safe to assume that decisions will be sent out next week. The wait will be worth it. Hang in there everyone!

Nothing yet for me either.

Jcabral- clinical questions pretain to the patient population you deal with in your icu, know your pathophysiology and how what your treatments are for whatever scenario you bring up. Also know the most common drips you use and mechanism of actions.

I interviewed in person on March 31 and I still have not heard back. My status online still says incomplete
