Would anyone be interested in creating a facebook group/page? I know it's super early but I thought it would be helpful to have an easier point of reference for us to be connected in case we need help/advice or have questions as it gets closer to the program start date and we make preparations to move and start freaking CRNA school!! :) Sorry, kind've excited.

A safe assumption to make is that everyone is an ICU nurse and everyone has good grades. I feel as though what they really take into account is your personality that you exude through your personal essay and interview. What makes you capable of doing this and why did you choose this? Of course know the patient population, common health issues, and treatments provided in your own ICU. Hope this helps. My statistics is 7 years old. I am preparing to retake the course this summer. Hoping for the best for all of you guys!!! Can't wait to hear good news!

I know nothing can take away from that nervousness of the unknown, however, I will say if you don't hear anything by today do not lose hope! I thought I was going to be denied based on how long it took for me to hear anything back. I didn't know anything for a good 3-4 weeks, however, that could be because I applied and interviewed so early. It will probably be quicker for you guys, but in case it takes longer than expected just remember that doesn't necessarily mean anything :)

Thank you! Wishing the best for you guys!! I applied very early, in January a few days after the application was available. They contacted me quicker than I expected. I interviewed in February via video chat. I was very nervous as it took a while for me to hear anything back, longer than two weeks. I kept checking my app status online, where it always says "incomplete," one day it said "admitted." A few days after that on March 27th, I received the official letter of acceptance via email and mail both on the same day.

I have been accepted to the 2018 CRNA BSN to DNP program at UM. I have been looking everywhere/anywhere to connect with others that will also start the program next year. Anyone out there?
