University Of Maryland CRNA 2021

Hello everyone! I just have been getting ahead of myself but decided to start this thread for people looking to apply to University of Maryland's CRNA program for the Summer of 2021. I have been very nervous but excited. CRNA school has always been the goal so crossing my fingers and wishing everyone looking to apply lots of luck! We got this ?

In the meantime, feel free to keep me company here as I wait 6 months for applications to even be due.

I interviewed at UPenn and Jefferson in Philadelphia back in February. Both interviews were completely different. Penn was more clinical based and Jefferson was more a get a to know you type. I would prepare for both scenarios. The question I was asked in both interviews was why I wanted to be a CRNA and work experience. Both lasted around 1 hour long. So far I'm wailisted at Jefferson. Just be yourself, but keep it professional.

WOW! that's incredible. I'm excited for you! Yeah I will be sure to study both types of questions and hopefully something sticks with a program. Thank you for the pointers! Good luck and let me know what happens with you ?

From what I’ve read on last year’s thread, interview invites were sent out Sep. 27th but the status change on my app was much earlier than last year so maybe we will find out sooner? Fingers crossed?

Submitted my application not too long ago! Hopefully I will have the chance to meet you guys if we get accepted!!

Anyone know if interviews are clinical/personality based? 

I heard from the grapevine that interviews will be through zoom this year.

I applied as well and everything has been officially submitted! Looking forward to hearing a decision. From what I’ve heard, zoom interviews are pretty much standard at this point, but who knows! Good luck to everyone! ☺️

Hello,

 

I just submitted my application yesterday. I decided last min that I will try out of state. I like what I see so far with the program. I was very impressed with the diversity the most.
