Who out there is applying to UNF for their 2021 CRNA program? I just submitted my application, I was waitlisted last year ?

I got waitlisted at UNF last year too. I got in somewhere else and didn't reapply. I was very impressed and almost moved down there (before I got accepted somewhere else) even though I didn't get in last year. Best of luck to you! I'm interested to see how the reapplication goes for someone waitlisted.

Hey everyone,

I submitted my application and it currently says “department referral”. I’m not sure what this means but I’m hopeful that I will get a call. Where is everyone at in the application process? Those who got waitlisted last year did they tell you why? I’m very nervous that my application is subpar. GRE scores are on the low side. Good luck everyone! Hope to see you in class some day ?

I was waitlisted and was told that I needed more ICU experience. I was 2 months shy of 2 years.

I’m not applying this year for precisely this reason; wanting to have a solid 3 years in the ICU. Maybe next year. I’ve heard great things about the program. Good luck to all who have applied!

@Defibn' Do you remember how soon after the deadline they called for interviews? I know some schools review applications before the deadline and invite people for interviews. I’m not sure if they do as well. I’m going a little crazy checking my email every 5 minutes. UNF is my #1 choice so I’m a little anxious.

I was too. I looked back through my email and the deadline was 4/1/19 and I got an interview invitation 4/11/19. I don't think people were getting offers before the deadline.

Not that this applies to those of you who have applied, but the deadline appears to have been moved to June 1st. Interviews may be pushed back due to this.

I am hearing that other programs who's application deadlines were also pushed back to June 1st are starting to send out interview invitations. Has anyone heard anything from UNF?

I haven’t heard anything yet. I emailed ------------------- about a month ago to ask about tentative interview dates and she said in her email that they would not issue interview dates until after the deadline and they didn’t have scheduled dates as of yet. So I wouldn’t expect to hear anything until after June 1st.
