Anyone applied for University of Miami this year?

I called today and was told that they would begin reviewing applications again for Spring 2020 in about two weeks.

I just received an email today advising my application is ready for review. Has anyone else received this email?

Hi everyone,

So I submitted my application on NursingCAS back 3/20 with everything verified quickly and Canelink switching to "complete" just the same. At the time of the application I was finishing my BS at my university so I safely assumed I was not going to hear back from any decision until they received my transcript after graduation; before I submitted my transcript my application was put on hold like others I am assuming.

My stats are a overall GPA of 3.5 with a 3.7 pre-req GPA, 2 classes needing to be finished, and a varying background of healthcare.

Should I be concerned or just keep waiting?

@Shem10 How exciting! When did you submit your application?

General question: did everyone who applied already get an email with a Cane Link login? I haven't gotten any emails from UM, just wondering if that's just because they haven't reviewed my app yet, or if something might be wrong.

@Drea824I applied on May 9th however I didn’t receive my final LOR until May 21st. I haven’t received a canelink email. I have my original login from when I attended UM in the past.

I did on 4/25 I received a notification stating it was under review but then on 5/2 I received a notification saying my application was on hold. Since then nothing.

And @Drea824 I received the email with the login instructions awhile back before I got the official email in regards to it. I would look into that matter.
