Hello guys! I haven't been able to find a forum for this upcoming cohort. I just finished submitting my application a few days ago and just recently received my canelink credentials. How's everyone else rolling along?

I got an email that says

 

"I wanted to notify you that your Spring 2024 BSN-to-DNP, Nurse Anesthesia application is in the review pipeline for the second round of interview decisions. 

This is a normal part of our process, and it happens because the admission committee wants to give your application a more thorough review.”

 

I imagine if I got this, some people must've received first round interview decisions. Feeling disappointed ?

From what I know from previous emails, you're considered for second round of interviews if your application was "verified" through NursingCAS after February 15, but I could be wrong. I know several people who applied to UM, and we all haven't received anything yet regarding first rounds of interviews. Atleast you know you're possibly in the running for the second wrong. Cheer up!

At least you got an email. I haven't received anything ? I believe they'll send out interviews and decisions next week. It's 5:00 on a Friday so I don't believe they'll be sending anything until Monday. I hope everyone gets good news.

I received one today that mine is in the pipeline for the second round of interview decisions because they want to give my application a more thorough review ?

Do not feel discouraged! I got the same email and it is usually when you submit your application later. So, I submitted my application the day before the application deadline. A resource from last year told me this and not to worry. They usually divide the interviews into two groups. There is still a chance. Keep your head up and stay positive!

You are correct! An e-mail I received from UM stated that I would be considered for second round interviews if I was able to turn in missing documents before Feb 15th deadline

I submitted my application much earlier, however my academic update ( I took two anatomy classes to raise my GPA) was verified later in February. Could that be why?

I received an email for an interview invitation! I'm shocked we received emails so late on a Friday. I also think they are are just processing the apps in the order they got them, so I wouldn't give up hope! Good luck everyone!
