University of Miami Accelerated Nursing Spring 2016

Hi! I just submitted my application for the university of Miami for the Spring 2016 semester and was wondering if anyone has heard back yet. Previous years, they have admitted students into the program on a rolling basis. I'm eager to find out if i got in!

Hi guys, when NURSINGCAS verifies your application where can you find the pre req GPA they calculated ?

Hi! This message is for spt5 or anyone who knows the answer.

I really am hoping you can help! I have been dreaming about getting accepted and going to UM ABSN Spring 2016, and was accepted. You mentioned you deferred your acceptance from Summer 2015. Is it possible to defer our acceptance from spring 2016 to Spring 2017, as circumstances have arisen for me. Not sure if I can attend May 2016, but do not want to give up my spot or my dream :). Please let me know any knowledge you have on this or who to ask and how you went about it. I'm thinking I could defer twice.. Defer to may 2016 then defer to spring 2017 tho it's possible we can only defer one session forward.

Your help on this would be a God-send. Thanks!

I just sent a response and it disappeared! Anna Castro is the person in nursing. Unless there was a change you can only defer once. I don't know if it can be a full year later but Anna would know and she generates the deferral form. Congrats again!!! Hope it works out just the way you'd like

Thank you soo much for your help! It means a lot! :) I will contact her and hope for the best. Do you also happen to know the exact start date (orientation) of the May cohort as this will help me know if I could defer to next session. Or if you know approximately the date whether end of May or beginning? Thanks again. Hope you do amazing in the program. Congrats to you too!

Thank you! According to what I see online for the UM academic calendar which the nursing program follows shows 5/16/16 as the start of classes which means that a mandatory orientation might be Friday 5/13/16 or 5/12/16
