University of Miami Accelerated Nursing Spring 2016

Hi! I just submitted my application for the university of Miami for the Spring 2016 semester and was wondering if anyone has heard back yet. Previous years, they have admitted students into the program on a rolling basis. I'm eager to find out if i got in!

How long have you waited to get verified? I am on my 4th week right now....

It didn't take too long but if you haven't called them I would suggest that you contact them to get an update and stay on it

Hi all!

If you submitted your app to NursingCAS and its been 5 weeks, I suggest calling. My app was pending verification for just over 5 weeks so I called this morning. Although the rep didn't come straight out and say it, she was hinting that it should have been verified already...she put in a "status request email" (to whomever the verification group is, I presume) and by the afternoon my app was verified.

I think I saw in a previous comment on this thread that UM takes about a month to review an application and send out a notice of acceptance (or denied!). Does anyone know if that is accurate? Does UM send out the notice via email, or mail?

Did anyone notice that the deadline was extended to November 1st?

Hi They send an email followed by hard copy in the mail for acceptances. Hope that helps. There is a closed FB group if you're interested

I've looked for the closed FB group a couple times and haven't been able to find it... any suggestions? I saw another person on this thread had the same experience.
