WOW! Thank you VERY MUCH! I am going to need all the help I can get. I was just surprised to see the prices on that side of town. I would at least need 2/1 but I am not sure how much that would be. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying per month?

You are going to receive an e-mail like this from UM within one month aprox.

Also, Elsevier (the company that provides the HESI exams) does not provide support for BootCamp and does not recommend running their testing software on it, nor on any PC emulator. Therefore, technical support for notebooks running BootCamp will be very limited at the School level as well. Students who take HESI exams on a Mac through the BootCamp software or via any PC emulator do so at their own risk. To ensure that these requirements are met, we strongly recommend that students purchase "I.T. Approved" laptops through the Technology Product Center (TPC), located at:

Technical support for student laptopsStudents should go to the "CaneNet Connection at Richter", located at the Richter Library Breezeway, next to Starbucks, as their primary source for technical support for their laptops. Thank you... Now I am confused. Is the HESI exams a mandatory exam for everyone? I was told that I did not have to take any exams. Will they send us information on this? Also will our uniforms, shoes, and laptop come from our financial aid or do we pay for these before we start?

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions... I believe that the majority of us already have our bachelor's degree. Has anyone contact financial aid yet? I am not sure how much I will be able to get since this will be my second bachelor's degree. Other classmates have told that I would not be able to get any further loans. I already started applying for scholarships but I know that I will not be able to work and I will need the money for tuition and living expenses. Is everyone here paying out of pocket or getting a personal loan?

 That is great, can you please provide me with contact information for the 1100.00 2/1. I would really appreciate it. I need all the help I can get... Thanks again for the info :)

Sure, it's Design Place Official Website for Design Place Miami | Apartments for rent in Miami | Miami Beach Condos I hope you can get one here or other place soon. Also, try to look around to UM, I heard that Dadeland and Brickell are perfect. Good Luck!!

The brickell area looks nice and affordable! Anyone live around there that can tell me more about the area? Places to avoid etc

Regarding uniforms, shoes, laptop, books come from any available sources, that is, financial aid, loans, or our pocket.

Have you looked into taking out loans through Sally Mae etc? I would shop around a little to look for the best offer but there are alternative options if they don't give you enough financial aid

I am in the same boat. When I contacted financial aid by phone I was told that for loans we need to fill FAFSA for applying loans, I am looking forward get more information about that. Check this Loans | Enrollment Management | University of Miami I hope it helps you and let me know if you find more information. Thanks

Yes, I am currently using FASFA, I just hope they loan me enough for tuition and living expenses if I don't get the scholarship. I'm so nervous...
