U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi ALL,

I wanted to start this thread for all those who applied and are interested in applying for UM's accelerated BSN next spring (Jan 2013)!!

Has any one applied or been accepted yet?

Please reply

I think it's different for me, because since I am a re-admit student, it shows me as already enrolled as a ABSN student. I'm soooo confused cause I would like to get started on all my required items asap, but I don't see it anywhere. I'm just going to have to call first thing on Monday.

No one here is going through the same thing right??? ahhhh. lol

Has anyone made the facebook group yet???

Yes, I am from Downtown Miami area.:D

Woo, awesome!!! Are you going to be commuting from DT or getting a new place?

I live in west kendall, so I'm trying to decide whether to commute or not, but it will all depend on my finances.

r u an international student?

Hi, where do I go to start the finger prints and background process? I already paid my 300.00 enrollment fee, set up my email, and uploaded a picture for my campus ID.

You are going to receive an e-mail like this from UM within one month aprox.

Therefore, technical support for notebooks running BootCamp will be very limited at the School level as well. To ensure that these requirements are met, we strongly recommend that students purchase "I.T. Approved" laptops through the Technology Product Center (TPC), located at:

Really, I don't know any real state agent, but I would ask any of my friends or cooworkers. However, I know that my condo is renting 1100 2/1 and there are efficency by 500.00 close to my house.

For me that I live relatively in center of Miami, I prefer commute because I just couldnt afford those places and I am not going to able to work when start the classes. I heard that Dadeland and Brickell are prefect for UM students. I don't recommend you Coral Gables area because is really expensive. Also, we need to communte for clinicals in hospitals that are twice a week. If you or one of you decide to move close DT , maybe we can commnute together.

Hello! Congrats to all who have been accepted to the program starting in January! I just received my acceptance e-mail; I'm very excited! I will be moving from Palm Beach County and may be looking for a roommate. I welcome any suggestions as to safe places to live near the campus. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Starvilla,

If you don't mind me asking house much do you pay for rent. I have begun looking and it is terrifying me. :nailbiting: I understand that Miami is a popular city and that housing is really expensive but I had no idea. I am looking for a 2/2 or 2/1 with a 1000.00 month max... Do you know any real estate agents that can help me?
