University of Miami ABSN Summer 2020

Hello everyone!

I hope it's not too early to start a thread for University of Miami Summer 2020 ABSN cycle but I have already submitted my application and want to see who else has as well. It is my first time applying but I hope to get in because it seems like a top notch school. I would be relocating from California if so. Hopefully we can all stay updated here!

Thank you @smohammadi, I didn’t know where to go to find the status. I see the incomplete status now as well. Hopefully we will all be in the same batch that hears back at the same time. And hopefully that time is very soon!

I received my canelink email in early October and still have an "incomplete" application status as well!

If it’s been about a month since my first email and I haven’t received the Canelink email, should I call and see what’s going on? Or continue waiting?

I just know this happened to people in last year’s thread.

I think it is completely reasonable to reach out and ask admissions!

I haven’t heard anything in a little while either. Maybe call to get an update on when they’re thinking the first round of decisions will be sent?

This may have already been answered in another thread, but I can’t seem to find it. Does anyone know many spots are available for admission for each cohort?

Called yesterday, they’re fixing my CaneLink problem (my information got “lost”???). They also said to me that the first round of decisions can go out as early as mid-late December, but usually January is prime time for first decisions. So basically they told me “maybe this, maybe that, you’ll never know.” But hopefully it’s December!

Also I know the cohort is around 70 for Spring, not sure if Fall is bigger or smaller in any way.

UCF, USF, Nova, Pace, NYU, Binghamton, Mercy (in NY), MCPHS, and I was accepted to Drexel.
