Anyone applying for the CRNA program starting in 2017? Also does anyone have any information on their application process (i.e interviews) and program. Any info would be great. thanks.

SURFS is still not reflecting some things that definitely should have gotten there by now, but I want to give their office some more time to process things. There's not a lot of wiggle room between their priority deadline of Sept 1, their 10-15 day processing time for things to appear on SURFS, and their warning that apps submitted after Sept 15 may not be considered...

Some updates have appeared on SURFS, but I've found that there is a good lag time (probably because some things like recs were sent closer to the priority deadline and I'm sure they're inundated with people trying to make the deadline).

renardeau, BSN, RN 1 Article; 136 Posts Sep 21, 2016 It seems like from looking at a similar thread for the 2015 year that they started contacting people for interview around mid-October (see https://allnurses.com/student-registered-nurse/university-of-maryland-1018238.html)I'm not sure if I made it in before the priority deadline because they lost something I sent them (even though I forwarded the e-mail that was from them confirming that they got it) and by the time I re-sent it after they confirmed it was missing, they counted that piece of the application as 'received' after the priority deadline date... this after I was waiting to give them a courteous window to process documents guess I should have just assumed they didn't get it in the first place when the e-mail reply confirmation didn't match what SURFS said.

My thing is that they declined to retrieve my transcript from Clearing house and stated that they have no records for retrieval. They finally did after i forwarded them a copy of an email from clearing house. Nevertheless, it was after the first but before the 15th. I'm not sure if they will review my application #Fingerscrossed
