Hi all soon to be fellow classmates! I just wanted to start this thread up so we didn't have to go weaving through all of the older stuff on the old threads.
I am really excited about starting school come January, really nervous though too. I have a lot to get done between now and then and sometimes I just don't think there is enough time in the day. Oh well, I plan on enjoying the holidays and working my buns off to save some money so that isn't an additional stressor during the first semester.
So lets post our questions, our thoughts and hopefully just get to know one another! And again....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Yes it does cost money for the slides. If I am correct the slides are three to a page and the cost will depend on how many they will have to print out for the class. Not all the classes are at the copy center. Yes Frank has already printed out the study guide for 320 so you can go and get it for $4.
Yeah it still costs money. I bought a new b/w laser printer just for this semester and have already gone through the first toner. I am finding that it takes me so long just to print out and organize all the slides and handouts it might just be easier to have them do it. But I suppose I still need to 3 hole punch them and organize them anyway. I'm still on the fence.
wow! that's a lot of printing you've done so far... Don't you bring your laptop to take notes in class? I find it faster to type than to write. I'm trying to conserve paper and save some trees. There are just too many slides to print out. Even if you do it front/back and 6-9 slides to a side!
Has anyone been able to enroll onto mynurseslab? I can't get the code to work. It says that I don't have access to the code. I can get to the site and use it I just don't know if we really need to enroll into the class.
Hey does anyone else have a schedule that doesn't allow for Nurs 333 GSS? So far that is the class that worries me most and it doesn't look like they offer a time when I can do it.
i thought they offer it on wed at 1-2 if you got lab on tues. No one should have labs on wed, i know it's the only hour we have between classes but.... it's only 3 more weeks for communication module! Yea, I'm a lil confused if we should be doing all the questions in the N333 lab manual corresponding to the chapters we've covered in class or do we do that in lab?

Patho was a relief tonight. I was going over all those slides and worrying about it and then she went over it and it all made sense. I was afraid she might just say "you should all know this from your prereqs" and cruise through it.
How many people are in your research paper group? we only have 4 and it seems like we are missing people but no one is answering the emails so I don't know what else to do.
n333 lab manual questions? I don't remember anyone saying anything about that. I guess I should have asked someone who had lab today. Ally said Lab was easy but I think she is a nursing tech. I wish I had some more hospital experience.
i haven't got my class/sleeping schedule down yet. Hopefully soon once labs start!
I've got 4 other people in my group. There should be 5 in each group, everyone counted off perfectly to 10 all the way thru the class. I just got the research book in the mail. I bought the older edition... I hope it helps. I got lost in class last week.

ah... i didn't catch your name during attendance today! but hmm.... i hope i can pinpoint you tomorrow :) The lab today was for 304, but tomorrow, everyone's going to be dressed up in their new/clean uniform for 333 lab....
well, i just printed out the 12 pg lab forms out to bring in class. I think it's mostly demonstration and lab orientation.
bluelilmunkie - I got your email last week and I didn't know how to reply. So sorry for not replying sooner. This past week was just crazy. I am trying to just get everything together still. I think we all are. I am just glad for snow so that I have to study
