I have been diligently keeping up with submitting documents for Spring Semester. I turned in a resume over 2 weeks ago but it's not showing online. Neither is nursing license. How do I turn in a nursing license? I'm afraid with such a delay in their processing that I'll have to start applying somewhere else. My new job requires that I am enrolled in BSN program within 6 months of hire.
Is there a way to expedite the process or to get a status update other than the online one?

How did you send your resume, is it through email? Since maryland no longer issues a paper copy of a license , you go on the Maryland website, search up your name and then when you click on it , save the page and then send them a copy. They're very slow to respond and nobody answers the phone , if you ever do get a hold of someone, the lady at the front desk is very rude and of no help. I would also suggest at looking at other programs as well.
Thank you so much! I will do that for the license. I have an application filled out for UMUC and ready to submit if necessary.
I sent the resume through email...twice. And I waited at least 10 days between sending like they said to.

maybe you could fax them the resume as well, I had no issues submitting my resume, most of stuff was updated within days, I'm just waiting to hear back that i got in or not. Most of classmates are already enrolled for their rn - bsn program at other programs , it did not take them long to get in. I'm not sure what's taking so long with them, especially since we are not traditional bsn students.

I submitted all of my documents electronically through email to nursing admissions and they were marked as received within 1-2 days. You can send a screenshot of you license from the MD BON website. You can also call to follow-up on your application, the office number is listed on the UMD nursing website.
The best thing to do is to submit everything through email and then call to follow up to make sure someone marks it as received right away. Make sure to put what program and semester you are applying for in the subject line as they get hundreds of applications for several different programs. If something isn't labeled appropriately it will never be seen again.
