It was a long day, in terms of waiting to interview one-by-one with the panel. The current first year cohort is a gracious group to pose questions to while you're waiting. They will reportedly announce admissions decisions after the last day of interviews. We'll see! ?

Hello,
Need some advice. Is it ok to be on crutches or in wheelchair to the interview? Just fractured the right leg today and have an interview next Wednesday. Is there a good amount of walking involved for the interview day? Is it even possible to be selected going to interview in the crutches and need someone to wheel me around? Please share some detail about the activities during that day so preparation can be made.
Thank you!

Honestly once you're in the nursing building there's not much walking. We provide a small tour in the end which is completely optional to attend and in no way it affects your admission decision if you wish to opt out of it. Getting to and from nursing school building to parking garage is the biggest hassle in my opinion.

Remind me what time you have to be there, 0730? Are you driving yourself? I can wheel you into the SON if you need to, I'll be getting off of work across the street.
Asherah,
Thank you for the offer. No, not possible to drive. I am in a leg long brace to prevent bending. I will have family member to drive me and assist me.

Just some more info/stats to offer after interviewing last week...
According to faculty, there were 457 applicants, 92 offered interviews, 87 actually interviewing, 30 to be accepted. 6-15 students will be waitlisted, half of which typically end up matriculating into the program (due to others accepting offers elsewhere). Those accepted should expect to receive a call this Friday. Those waitlisted will receive letters in 2 weeks.
