Is anyone currently going to the University of Louisiana, or has applied recently. I just haven't seen much information on their classes. I was just accepted and start January 2014! Thanks!

I applied to their online RN to BSN program almost two months ago but I ended up cancelling my application because they are not online friendly and admission counselor did not even helpful at all. I just wasted my time and money. Nurses, never try this school for your BSN study because you will waste your time and money like me :( I think I will attend SNHU online RN to BSN program because they are very helpful and their tuition is very affordable.

That's too bad. I had a wonderful experience signing up. It took about a month for them to receive and review my transcripts and then I got an email stating I was accepted. I started in January and love the program. Good luck to you!

Because of busy schedule, that's what I expected... When I handed in my application to the program, an admission counselor there did not even check my transcripts sent to their etranscript mail box to which we direct our transcripts electronically. In fact, the school website showed a wrong etranscript address... Good luck with your study...because I read some threads here saying the program is not that helpful as well as easy enough to go well with your busy schedule.

I had intended to go to this school as well, but when it it was over a month and they still had not looked at my transcripts--and charged me $25, I didnt get a good 1st impression...so went elsewhere.

That's a bummer. They told me up front that it would take 6-8 weeks from the time I sent transcripts. And then they actually completed them before that time. I have been really pleased with the program, well everyone but the financial aid office....

I guess I found it odd other schools did the eval in a day or 2...and was free, so found it odd that they charged $25, and took such a long time,lol

I guess every school I've gone to, online or not has been that way, so since I knew up front it didn't bother me lol. Good luck to you!

well they didnt tell me that at first. said a few weeks..which kept dragging on. Im glad it did, enjoying (if 1 can enjoy school) at GCU,lol

For your information, SNHU is very affordable, very responsive, and their financial office is super nice to take care of your needs! I love that school.

How do you like the program so far? do they require a lots of prerequisite?

I have a degree in other field; therefore, I need to take only nursing classes!!! I tried to apply some colleges in Texas or Wyoming but all of them will require odd prerequisites such as history of Texas... or French literature.... At least SNHU doesn't require such things!!!
