It did not take long for them to evaluate my transcripts, less than a month. I knew before classes started what I needed to take. I'm not exactly sure what class I had taken that I was given credit for the computer literacy class, but I have a business degree prior to going back to school for nursing. If you have taken any type of computer literacy class, it should qualify, and you can always ask them to reevaluate a class that you feel qualifies for credit. I had to do that with my statistics class. I went online to the university where I took the class, copied the course description, and emailed it to the transcript reviewer along with the URL of where I retrieved the info from (so they wouldn't think I was making anything up). I got credit for the class.

It took over 2 months for them to review my transcripts. I sent them in April and didn't get a response until July 11 :(

OK---for those of you "in the system" now. Do you have a hard time connecting to their websites? My computer keeps hanging to get into Zimbra (email) and I cannot access ULink at all from home. I can when I go to Starbucks, but it is hit or miss at home. This worries me and I'm hesitant to start classes if this is a problem????

thx :)

The Mozilla Firefox browser is the preferred browser for Moodle. I have been using it and have not had a problem. Use this link to make sure your system is up-to-date with all the plugins and hardware/software needed, such as Adobe reader, etc.

Hello Shug

I'm so happy to see other finally posting about ULL. I just started this August. Have you taken 327,344 or 355. They are coming up for me and I was wondering if they are similar to 354 as far as course load. What type of papers/projects/assignment have got you stumped in 406?

TippyToes,

406 Evidenced Based Practice is only my 2nd class, and it is very disorganized! I think its because of the instructor and not the material. I believe someone else taught the class in the past, and the prof thought he could just step in without looking over the material. For example, the last quiz we took had 4 questions from chapters we weren't assign to read!?! He did throw those questions out, but that's after time was wasted answering those questions. This class we have had quizzes weekly, discussion forum postings, and some other miscellaneous stuff. For the final project we have to write a paper critiquing (sp?) a research article. I have finally, sort of, figured this thing out, but after reading the posts on the "student forum" many students are going crazy in this class. I'm taking 327 Community next (Oct 20) and hoping that its more straightforward.

Shuggypie,

Thanks for your reply I will take 327 next semester as well, then 344 after Christmas. I just ordered the book tonight. The only thing I have left is the final project paper in 354. Do they grade real hard on that? I've done alright with the writting so far. Well hopefully next semester will be better for you.

Did you start the program in march? If so any pointers on the classes you have taken?

I really like it so far but only had two courses.

I started in July. I am in my 2nd class now. The program is not bad, I like the fact that there is more than just writing papers, and the discussion forums only require response to 1 student. The grading is not any different than the papers, so you don't have anything to worry about. According to my degree plan I will be finished in June -11 months for a BSN.

I'm happy to hear the program is going this well for people. I'm on the fence between ULL. and . I thought ULL was going to be SO much work with lots of papers but it sounds like (1) paper per class?
