Hello everyone, I'm not sure if anyone has made a thread for the Spring 2019 cycle application but here's the thread. A little information about me i graduated at the University of Houston Spring 2017 with a bachelors in psychology and minor in psychology. I'm seeking to get a second bachelors degree in nursing. This program is very rigorous and competitive so im nervous about getting in. I'm taking my TEAS by the end of June. Good luck to everyone!
Please leave any comments, concerns or any information so we can bond together. :)
I'm sure stats are not the only thing evaluated in the admissions process. The school you attended and the area of study are significant, if not more weighed against your peers during admissions evaluation. For example a student averaging low Bs and high Cs from Harvard with a Bachelors degree in AstroPhysics will trump an all A student with a 4.0 gpa who graduated from some University in Alaska with a degree in English Lit. Even if the student from Harvard has lower TEAS scores.
Hello guys!I just wanted to drop in and to let you know I just received a invitation to the interview on Sept 21 but I will not be able to attend due to the fact that I am already in TWU Houston's nursing program and plan on staying there lol. I just wanted to update you guys on that since it's getting tense now, but be relieved to know there is at least ONE more spot open for one of you!
Good luck and best wishes!
Hello, I'm just creeping on other school's forums to relieve my anxiety. But I also applied to TWU Houston for Spring 2019 admission. I was told they were going to send out letters mid-October to early November. How did you already get an acceptance??
