Howdy! I couldn't find a thread started for spring 2017 admissions for U of H so I figured I'd start one. We can share stats and how we are doing through the admissions process.
I'm not super familiar with the UofH nursing program other than I've heard that it is incredibly rigorous since it is condensed into 1 year, which is the main appeal for me! I already spent 4 years in undergrad at tamu for a BS in Health.
I would love to talk to you all going through this same process!!
Hi @MBloughran! I'll also be relocating and looking for a roommate! They said that there are dorms at the main campus in downtown but not at the Sugar Land campus.
I'm looking at apartments near the Sugarland campus. I'm most concerned with staying within 20 min from the campus and finding an affordable rent. I am 29 , female, and was personal trainer before going back to school for nursing. If you are interested in rooming with me let me know your budget range.

Hi! For everyone who is currently in the program, how are you paying for it??? Usually you use all your student loan limit with FAFSA from your 1st Bachelor's degree. Can someone please let me know? Did you use a private student loan?
Can anyone from the 2017 class talk about and explain the interview process? I got my invitation for the interview today for the Spring 2018 class and a bit nervous on that!

So I don't know what information you have, but the book we used was "Focus on Nursing Pharmacology" by Amy M. Karch, 7th edition. Great book, I know we and the professors liked it so I would think it'd be the same again. Are you getting that big package though?
