University of Florida (UF) BSN-DNP Fall 2023

I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!

Okay, I just finished. It was so weird...I had issues with my laptop camera connecting to zoom so I had a small freak out and tried not to cuss out loud over it ? It went okay; I felt like it could have been better. I don't feel like the questions they asked had anything to do with a grad school program though...they were VERY generic, almost like I was interviewing for a job.

Hi guys, I saw you all mentioned getting an email about the notifications going out in April..? I submitted everything before the deadline and have patiently been waiting but never got an email mentioning ANYTHING about notification, other than me asking the admission advisor myself. Could you all give me some insight into your email and what it entailed..?

Did you check your junk box? I got mine on February 24th & my coworker got hers the same day; it was the assistant director of academic advising stating that she just wanted to state that all decisions will be sent out in early April and that if there were any delays, she'd let us know.

Ahhhhhh! I just checked and I have nothing. I double checked my trash to see if I deleted it by mistake. Ironically I asked Mailing a question on 02/27 and she didn't mention anything about a delay, but did respond back to my question. I'm like panicking that I didn't get it, it makes me feel like something is incomplete. I just double checked my CAS application and the UF application it the CAS says verified and the UF says complete. I don't know what else the hold up for it would be.. ?

I don't know what the hold up is or the acceptance rate. The only thing I can think of is that there might be a lot of applicants and maybe that's why it's taking so long ??‍♀️?

The wait is getting brutal! LOL looking at posts from last year, the decisions went out around the last week of March so fingers crossed we are getting close!

I know. I have three former coworkers that started last Fall and they all got their notices in early to mid-March. I was a little surprised when the email said April.

Yes so was I, but it makes me think that maybe they're saying early April as a long shot because it looks like they've been known to have delayed decisions compared to what they've told applicants. Maybe any day now ??
