University of Florida (UF) BSN-DNP Fall 2023

I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!

We're getting there! Slowly but surely! LOL maybe it honestly is random and we have no reason to be as worried as we are ?? at least we have an answer and can stop obsessing over our emails this week ?

So, no more we're going out this week or the saga continues next week after those sent out at the end of this week?

I'm pretty sure most schools and businesses are closed this Friday and next Monday, so I'm going to say the earliest we'd hear something is next Tuesday! ??

I wonder why they bypassed this week all together.. Why not do another round of decisions this week?

 

Or its really because they want the first round of acceptancees to either accept or deny their offering so they can get a truer picture of just how full their programs will be, so they know how many positions they have to acceptance. Does that make sense? If they have until 04/06 that HAS to be what it is I think...

That's exactly what I'm thinking, maybe they want to see how many accept in the first "wave" to see exactly how many offers they can send out during the second wave.

My friend got her acceptance "a couple of days ago". I still haven't heard anything and I'm a current UF student.

I actually emailed to ask and was told the next acceptance batch won't be until "late next week", so I've just stopped checking my email like a crazy person now ???‍♀️

I seen that post ? she said her application status never updated on UF. She was a PT FNP. In the fall when I was accepted to the BSN program I got my email on 11/5 and my application updated on 11/4.

Yes it sounds like those accepted in this forum have also said their applications never updated either! I wonder how many people they accept altogether, I also applied for the PT FNP ? I was feeling really confident in my application but I'm hearing of so many people being accepted already ?
