University of Florida (UF) BSN-DNP Fall 2023

Updated:   Published

I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!

Which site would it update on, Nursing cas?

I don't think so, I believe on the UF graduate applicant page and you would check the status of your application. The last I checked it just said "received".

Correct, the application page is the one that updated. We didn't use CAS for the BSN portion.

Ooohhh okay. I keep checking all the sites I can check ?

Has everyone completed their BSNs? Mine would be contingent on me completing mine this Summer.

Yes I completed mine in December 2021

Yes it sounds like those accepted in this forum have also said their applications never updated either! I wonder how many people they accept altogether, I also applied for the PT FNP ? I was feeling really confident in my application but I'm hearing of so many people being accepted already ?

When they held the info session in December they stated that 10-15 student would be accepted ??

WHAT! That's really surprising, I thought most programs held somewhere around 50 students.

10-15 each for PT and FT FNP and 7-10 in dual peds. I didn't pay much attention to the other tracks.

I got accepted into FAU's DNP FNP program ?  but haven't heard a word from UF (I got my email this morning). I'm waiting to respond to that until I hear from UF.
