University of Florida (UF) BSN-DNP Fall 2023

I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!

Hmmm that could be very possible, too! I submitted my UF application the middle of December BUT my NursingCAS app wasn't submitted until literally about 2 days before the deadline because I was waiting for one reference. We will see ??

I got my acceptance email at 4:55pm on Thursday. I applied to the FNP program & selected part time. I confirmed my acceptance today and got an automated email from the academic adviser saying they are out of office until Monday. In my email I had until April 6 to confirm my acceptance. 
 

They may have sent out a small batch of acceptance emails, are waiting for a certain number of replies & then sending out another batch? Keep your spirits high! Just wanted to share this information to hopefully ease some nervous. Good luck! Praying you all get in! ??

This was nice to hear, I appreciate it! I have high hopes that maybe we'll hear something today, but realistically since they have you until the 6th, I'd say maybe we won't hear anything until Friday.. which is Good Friday, so I doubt it ? LOL another week of obsessively checking our emails!

Same here, one thing that's been pretty consistent is that emails go out at the end of the day, right before 5!

Would it be wrong of me to call them?

my biggest worry is not getting in and losing my place at the other schools I got accepted to. I just don't want to lose the $400/500 deposit if I DO get into UF, as I would choose it over the other 2.

I was actually going to say who wants to volunteer to call! LOL I would just say a few friends of yours have received their decisions already, can they give an estimate if it will be early or late this week, or not even this week? ?

I'll be the scapegoat LOL! Do I call the office of nursing or the OneUF number? (that's who I used to call in undergrad)

I would actually call the office of graduate admissions, when I've called in the past they've been very responsive. Or even Mailing's phone number; in her emails she always says don't hesitate to reach out! LOL
