Hello! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to or already admitted to the Summer 2021 MSN program at UC. I was recently admitted to the FNP specialty and would love to connect with others!

Oh dang! Are you taking pharm this first semester instead of semester 3?
It really is, my nerves are kicking in already haha I've been out of school for 5 years now ?

@cherieRN I am going full time. I wonder if the FNP and WHNP programs are set up a little different. If I registered part time I would take Pharm semester 2.
I feel you on the nerves. I think to myself sometimes, "What did I get myself into?" It has been 4 years for me.

Oooh that makes sense! Haha exactly, definitely going to be a reality check for me re-learning how to study ?

OK I just created a FB group! It’s called University of Cincinnati MSN-FNP Summer 2021. (All MSN specialties are welcome to join!!) Let me know if you have any trouble finding the group ?

Awesome , thank you ?
I found out today that I've been accepted to the FNP program at Frontier in addition to UC. I am super excited but kind of overwhelmed about which school to attend. I really didn't think I would get accepted into both.
Did any of you apply to Frontiers FNP Program as well ?
Or what have you heard or discovered regarding both programs?

I looked into Frontier but hadn’t applied! UC was actually the top choice of the places I applied because of its reputation, ranking, accessibility distance wise, cost, and communication/responsiveness from staff. I’ve read tons of reviews and I’ve seen an overwhelmingly positive response to UC!

Thank you! I will continue to do more research over the next couple of days. So far, I think the biggest difference that I've observed is that UC is 7 semesters PT vs Frontier being 10 semesters PT.
