  1. OK I just created a FB group! It’s called University of Cincinnati MSN-FNP Summer 2021. (All MSN specialties are welcome to join!!) Let me know if you have any trouble finding the group ?
  2. Oh wow already!? Which classes did you register for? So exciting!
  3. Congrats, that’s great!! How exciting!!
  4. I was notified that my application was “verified” about 2 weeks after submitting, and I got the acceptance about one week after that. Good luck!
  5. @Byee11 I’m in Washington State and I’ll be starting the FNP program. Where are you located? We should start a facebook page for those of us starting the program in May! ?
  6. @Byee11 @cherieRN Awesome!! It may be a little early to be worrying about this, but have you thought about reaching out to potential preceptors yet or are you waiting for the program to actually begin before you start looking? From what I understand, we don’t start clinicals until next year
  7. Hello! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to or already admitted to the Summer 2021 MSN program at UC. I was recently admitted to the FNP specialty and would love to connect with others!
  8. Hi all, I’m currently a mother/baby RN and I’m looking at enrolling in a master’s program next year. However, I’m torn between which specialty I want to go into - peds or women’s health. I love my current job, getting to work with both babies and women after childbirth. I’d love to hear if anyone else has felt this way and why they chose one specialty over the other, or simply if any PNP or WHNP could share information about their role. Thank you! ☺️
  9. Hi all! I have a question for all the Primary care pediatric nurse practitioners out there. I know you see patients from 0-18 years, but could you break down (approximately) what percentage of your patients you see on an average day are of which ages? I’m assuming you see younger patients more often as they need more frequent visits but could you give me more specifics? I’m currently a mother-baby RN and I am leaning towards becoming a PNP but I’m worried I’ll miss caring for babies every day ☺️? Thank you!!
  10. Thank you for this! I found out yesterday on the WA provider credential search that I passed as well because my status is now Active! On 1/3 when you got your active practice permit, was that mailed to you or what? I'm not really sure what my next step is now. Will I get an email soon that explains more?
  11. Hi all! I took my NCLEX today at 11am. It stopped at 75 question but I did not feel very good about it because around half of my questions were SATA!!!! ? How long did it take until your license was posted on the Washington provider credential search?? I heard it's sometimes posted the same day but mine is still pending!
