I wanted to start a forum for those who will be applying to the UCSD New Grad program March 2025

applications opened yesterday and this would be a place for everyone to keep each other updated on the process!

My status: Referred to Hiring Department

This is my first time applying and I hope this is good news!

My status changed to referred to hiring for the ED, others more competitive for oncology and OR, and still waiting for a status update on the ICU!

yes La Jolla! It just changed recently because when I looked the first time few hours ago it just said application received! so just keep checking! 🤞🏻

Congrats! Did you apply early days of the application period? Wondering if they're going in order of applications received when referring to units.

I applied to PCU - Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center in La Jolla. Congrats everyone. Yes, Keep checking status often.

I got referred to hiring department for ER. Still waiting on ICU!

Hi everyone! I got "referred to hiring department" for oncology, PCU and Hillcrest ICU! Still waiting for a status update from La Jolla ICU and Thornton IMU/PCU. Good luck to everyone! 🙂
