Hi! Just thought I would create a new topic for all of us applying to UCLA's MECN program this year ?

Yes! Definitely reach out to them again. I was #4 about 1.5 months ago, so we should both be accepted off of the alternate list if I got accepted today. Hoping you get your acceptance email latest by tomorrow! ?

Hi! I reached out to them yesterday and got a response back saying that I'm currently #1 on the list. So fingers-crossed!!

Huh that is really strange! My original waitlist email definitely said I was #17 back in February. Now I'm wondering if they truly go down the list in its exact order, or if it's just an estimate of your position. I don't know why they wouldn't go in the exact order they tell us though. 

I have a strong feeling you will be accepted in the near future! I have high hopes!!

Yeah I also got the waitlist email back in February, and I don't think they go down the list in its order. But thank you so much ❤️  I'm also so happy and excited for you, I know you're gonna crush it and do so well in the program!!

To ask about the order that they're calling perspective students from the waitlist. 

One would assume it's in order, right?
