I got waitlisted and I did not feel confident with my interview. Hence the reason why I feel like they weigh heavily on the interview
I thought last year they told waitlisted applicants their place in line. But this year they aren't? I got waitlisted but they didn't tell me my place in the waitlist.

I was waitlisted. I don't think I was able to do the VERY best I could have on the interview because it was just a One Shot, but I think I had done pretty well on it.

I did not get a call or an email, but I thought I did OK on the interview. I maybe fumbled on one question but not bombed or anything.

So sorry for the late response!!
I got my admission call around 10:50 am yesterday. I also received an admission/congrats email around 11:10 am. And last night, around 5 pm, I got an email that said the app portal had been updated.
I just checked my app portal & had the official admissions offer letter!
Wishing you the best!! ❤️

I submitted my app probably 2-3 hours before the deadline on 11/30.
Invited to interview on 01/31; submitted the interview & fellowship essay Feb 6th (also 2-3 hours before the deadline LOL).
Received the admission call yesterday morning! Hope that helps ❤️

For those who got accepted, is UCI your top choice, or are you considering other programs as well?
UCI is my top choice! I applied to the University of the Pacific as well but have not heard back.

I was accepted but I did not feel confident with my interview at allllll. Honestly, I thought it was awful bc I hadn't interviewed in such a long time and it was a weird format. I also thought I fumbled on one question, but overall my responses were pulled from my personal statement.
I got accepted around the exact time from as

I got accepted yesterday around the same time frame. I got a call around 10:55am. The email was sent at 11:09 a.m., and the portal was updated at 5 p.m. I applied to UCI, UCLA, CSULB, and CSUF. UCI offered me the fellowship and I live in the OC area so I'm considering it much more. I hope this helps in terms of timeframe wise. I also applied the day it was due November 30th, submitted at 6pm ish. I wish y'all the best, I am genuinely so curious how many people applied this cycle.
In terms of my interview, I felt super unsure about mine as I felt like I glanced too much on my jotted notes and felt pressure as I haven't done interviews in a while. I definitely feel like my essays were more impactful detailing my experience and work ethic.
