I got accepted around the exact time from as

I got accepted yesterday around the same time frame. I got a call around 10:55am. The email was sent at 11:09 a.m., and the portal was updated at 5 p.m. I applied to UCI, UCLA, CSULB, and CSUF. UCI offered me the fellowship and I live in the OC area so I'm considering it much more. I hope this helps in terms of timeframe wise. I also applied the day it was due November 30th, submitted at 6pm ish. I wish y'all the best, I am genuinely so curious how many people applied this cycle.

In terms of my interview, I felt super unsure about mine as I felt like I glanced too much on my jotted notes and felt pressure as I haven't done interviews in a while. I definitely feel like my essays were more impactful detailing my experience and work ethic.

Hi, I am planning to apply in the next round of application, would you mind share details about the fellowship? One of my hesitations was the tuition is quite high, but if there is a possibility to get some kind of scholarship, that would help a lot!

Hello! I also feared the tuition for UCI, however, definitely show off your true motivations in pursuing nursing. The fellowship is offered for students that received an interview offer, of which you have a week deadline to submit the interview and a short 250 word paragraph answering their fellowship question. It was in regards to the nursing profession not accurately reflecting the California population and how you can contribute to the profession.

You definitely got this! I remember applying last November, fearing the application process. Show your genuine passion for the nursing profession.

Thank you so much! May I know if it is similar to scholarship which can cover the tuition or it is like a student work opportunity during the semesters? Congratss!! Wish you a lot of success in the program!

No worries, thank you! The award mentioned "This award is not contingent upon accepting employment, and accordingly, there is no work or service requirement associated with it. You were selected because of your proven academic record and accomplishments, and we recognize the promise and potential you will bring to our university." I hope this helps, goodluck next year!

I'm still waiting on a rejection email

For those admitted, when is your deadline to accept the offer?

I think our deadline to submit SIR is April 15.

Thank you! Has anyone on the waitlist heard anything yet? I tried to look at previous threads but it's hard to tell how it'll be, especially since we don't know our ranking

Has anyone not received any communication from UCI since submitting the interview or have all accepted/waitlist/rejection emails gone out?

Specializes in Medical Assistant and CNA.

I have yet to receive any decision from the school 😞 getting a little worried...

Nothing on portal yet. I did email them but I didn't really get an answer just got to keep watching my emails!

I haven't recieved anything at all after the interview. I definitely assumed that meant a rejection although they haven't sent an email out yet.
