I'd like to start a thread to keep updated with everyone's timeline from "Application Received" to "Hired" or anything in between. I didn't see a post and wanted to start one. 

Hi! Wishing us all the best!! I applied and submitted my application 4/10. Mine currently still says application received. In addition to the required aspects of the application I also attached 3 letters of rec, all my certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). I also submitted proof of academic achievements such as Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and GPA with honors, cum laude. I did mention a passion for NICU and peds in my cover letter to hopefully increase my chances on a desired unit. I wanted to mention that I also saw that pay was about $66 when I did my research since someone mentioned that above. Can't wait for us to hear the next steps!! Best of luck.

following! applied 4/4 hinted ICU and ED in my cover letter. no certs submitted, only resume, cover letter, transcripts & 2 lors. good luck to us all!! 🤞🏼

I believe it said 2 weeks after the application window closes we would find out if we are going to be contacted for an interview/next steps.

Where did you see this timeline? Also, did they have a seminar? I couldn't find anything while I was applying. TIA!

I could not find a seminar. I think someone else mentioned they did not find one either earlier in the thread. The timeline I saw on the main page before you started the application.

Timeline I found on the website. After the 2 week mark applicants will be sent to hiring manager. But it doesn't say when we would be contacted for interviews. I guess we will know if we are moving forward if application status changes in 2 weeks. 

 

Once the final filing date for the position closes, all applications are reviewed and screened for completeness and eligibility. This review takes approximately two weeks. 

 

After pre-screening is completed, qualified candidate applications are sent to hiring managers for review. 

 

Hiring departments will contact candidates to schedule an interview with the hiring manager and additional stakeholders. 

 

After interviewing, top candidates will complete a reference check. 

 

Contingent offers of employment are typically made five weeks prior to the program start date.  

 

Upon offer acceptance, individuals will be required to successfully complete a background check, pre-employment physical examination, and drug screen prior to the program start date. They will also be required to submit proof of California RN licensure.

Hey everyone,

Any updates on the portal for anyone's app? I am originally from Sacramento, CA and graduating in Colorado only with my ADN. I am so nervous to secure a job back home because it is so competitive and I gave up my 3 job offers here already. Is there any other place to apply for residency besides here and Kaiser?

No update on mine so far either, and I'm in a similar situation. I am from Sacramento but applying from an out of state nursing program! I've applied to one Bay Area hospital and a few in San Diego but still waiting for more to open! Good luck to you too 🙂
